Welcome to Casa Alang Alang, an eight-bedroom villa with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the famous surfing town of Tamarindo. This Guanacaste beach town lies at the heart of Costa Rica’s Gold Coast Beaches. Famous for its unparalleled surf, Tamarindo has grown into a miniature metropolis – a thriving and culturally diverse community known for year-round warm weather and constant adventure and outdoor activities. Tamarindo attracts thousands of visitors each year – a former fishing community transformed into a vibrant playground for surfers, beachgoers, nature lovers, and adrenaline junkies. Casa Alang Alang is inspired by Bali-style living and is built mostly with materials and furniture imported from Indonesia. Architecture by renowned San Diego – California architect Steve Adams, construction by Flor del Pacifico – Jeff Hutton, the top custom homebuilder in Guanacaste. Casa Alang Alang is approximately 15,000 square feet and sleeps up to 19 people in great comfort and style, with a unique blend of privacy and common areas. The house is located on a private, secluded hillside at the entrance of Tamarindo with breathtaking views of Tamarindo estuary and the Pacific Ocean all the way north to Playa Grande yet 5 minutes walking distance to the beach and town center.

There are eight bedrooms at Casa Alang Alang distributed as follows: A master bedroom on the upper level, two bedrooms on the main level, four bedrooms on the lower level, one in the apartment, and a total of 9 bathrooms. The apartment has a bedroom with a king bed, a lounge area, a kitchenette, a dining table, a bathroom, and a private balcony. Depending on weather conditions, the spacious living area can be opened/closed partially or completely. This inside living area contains a large ironwood table for dining as well as a comfortable sofa for relaxing and both seat up to 12 people. Once the living area is open the spectacular views from the main terrace are fantastic for outside dining or enjoying a cocktail while viewing an amazing tropical sunset. Casa Alang Alang has two pools one with an overflowing lap pool of 21 m ending in a Bale with double loungers to hang out. The pool on the main floor overflows on four sides giving the impression of a giant mirror looking toward the ocean.

Staying in Casa Alang Alang is a luxury experience and to make sure you have an unforgettable stay, we provide complimentary concierge, housekeeping, and breakfast preparation services.

Breakfast buffet preparation is included but not the food cost. Our buffet includes eggs, omelets, bacon, pancakes, toast, cereal, fresh fruit, orange juice, delicious Costa Rican coffee, and tea. We have an excellent local chef available to prepare delicious lunches and dinners at Casa Alang Alang so you can relax and enjoy Costa Rica the way it is meant to be enjoyed! The cost of this service includes the preparation, service, and clean up after.
